Getting involved in cooking is something your kids will love the most. And what better bonding time than those moments you cook together! We give you 4 easy dishes you can make with your kids.

1. Scrambled eggs with cheese

All that you need are:
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
salt
pepper powder
butter
1/4 cup grated cheese
4 slices bread

Using a fork let your child whisk the eggs and milk together. After adding enough salt and pepper, you can help him melt the butter in a pan placed over a medium flame. Let him pour the egg mix, as soon as the butter starts foaming. Occasional stirring will do. Once it all sets, remove from fire and add grated cheese on top. Meanwhile, you can ask the little chef to try toasting the bread slices. Now, it’s his turn to serve cheesy scrambled eggs with bread.

2. Lemonade

What all goes in:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup lemon juice

You can now tell them that the secret to the most perfect lemonade is the magical sugar syrup. For that, let the kids dissolve sugar in hot water. You can let them heat sugar and water together in a saucepan to make the simple syrup. Meanwhile, help them extract juice from about six lemons. Take a pitcher and mix the syrup and juice together. Add cold water as desired before refrigerating for about half an hour.

3. Fruit juice

Help your kids cut up their favorite ripe fruit into pieces. The technique remains the same for all the drinks. Along with the ripe fruit, honey or sugar can also go into the blender. Let it all blend on high speed for about five to ten minutes. Before pouring out the juice, you should stir it up with a wooden spoon. If needed, you can blend it again for another five minutes.

4. Chocolate Pudding

Here is how to make the irresistible Chocolate Pudding. All you need is:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
5 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cups milk
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Take a heavy-bottom saucepan of medium size to whisk together cocoa powder, cornstarch, sugar and salt. You then ask the kids to add cream, milk and also the eggs. Ask them to whisk well till the ingredients are all nicely blended. Now add chocolate chips. Place the pan on medium flame and keep on whisking slowly till it boils. After about eight minutes, you should help the kids remove the saucepan from the fire and pour the mixture into a bowl. For the ice bath, let them fill large bowls with ice, adding a little water. Now set the pudding bowl in ice. Keep stirring the pudding until it starts cooling. Now you can stir in vanilla and then cover it well with a plastic lid and refrigerate for about forty minutes.
